It allows one to watch the world events from a safe distance, mimimises your actual involvement in a decisive historical processes while preserving your own emotional involvement a prioiri as of a member of a human race, a particular nation and a bearer of a cultural heritage. It is one-way road when all the news come in here and practically nothing comes out. it is an ideal observer position, to conclude.
